Meet Dr. Holly Clark

Holly Clark, DDS, MSD

Children bring such light to the world, and I love to be able to share that with them. It is humbling to be surrounded by their positive energy every day.

HOLLY CLARK, DDS, MSD

My high-school sweetheart is also my husband. We have three young children and love our Golden Retriever, Rosie. If I’m not taking care of children’s growing smiles at the office, I am most likely at home and enjoying time with my kids. We really love taking walks and playing at the park with Rosie. We also love to travel and especially enjoy visiting the Florida Keys.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

I grew up here in Indianapolis and graduated from Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School. My undergraduate studies took place at Indiana University Bloomington, where I received a Bachelor of Science in biology with minors in chemistry and math.

Remaining at IU, I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery through the IU Dental School. This was followed by my pediatric dentistry residency and specialty training at Riley Hospital for Children, and my Master of Science in dentistry in pediatric dentistry.

I have been practicing for about five years and have loved every day “at work.” Being in oral healthcare is challenging and fun. I love seeing my patients on a regular basis and caring for such an integral part of their health.

In my practice, I love forming relationships with patients, especially those who are timid or anxious about their dental visits. I am passionate about maintaining a light, fun atmosphere in the office and truly being able to change the lives of the children we treat!

Professional Affiliations, Continuing Education, and Activities

I am an active member of the:

  • American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
  • American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry
  • American Dental Association
  • Indiana Dental Association
  • Indiana University School of Dentistry Alumni Association

Through these organizations, I am able to take many courses, along with attending seminars and lectures, and reading various periodicals. Continuing education (CE) is an excellent way to maintain and expand skills, and keep up to date with recommendations in the specialty. My patients benefit from the concepts I learn and incorporate into the practice on a daily basis.

In addition to my active pursuit of CE, I currently teach/staff the residency clinic at Riley Hospital. I am also the pediatric liaison for the IU Dental School Alumni Association. I will always want to remain active in my community, so I can be the very best practitioner and advocate for my patients!

BEYOND THE OFFICE

My family is the most important part of my life. I feel so fortunate to have my sister, Dr. Kate Clark, working in the practice. And our mother, Dr. Janet Clark, visits the practice often and helps treat our ortho patients. We have a large family of pediatric dentists!

When I have time for myself, I love running and reading.
